Karen was a huge Yankee fan. She loved traveling, shopping, reading, music and, mostly, spending time with family and friends. She was also known as “Ryebread” and “Cupcake” to many. She was loved by every person she met; she had a way of putting a smile on everyone’s face. She will be dearly missed.
The family received visitors Aug. 14 at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral Mass took place Aug. 15 at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Burial followed at St. Isidore Cemetery.
