Pamela Bohack-Cheek

Pamela Bohack-Cheek of Riverhead died at home Oct. 18, 2023, under hospice care. She was 68.

She was born April 13, 1955, in Jamaica Queens, N.Y. and predeceased by her mother Juanita Nicholson; father Paul Bohack; children’s father Denny Cheek; and fiance Bill Carpenter. She is survived by her daughters Brittney White, Vanessa Cheek and Alexandra Romanelli; and her grandchildren Brody, Addison, AJ, Hunter and Remi. She had many treasured friends, including her beloved dogs.

Pamela was a certified public school teacher since 1978 as well as a registered nurse at Stony Brook University Hospital since 1994. She retired as a nursing instructor at Eastern Suffolk BOCES in 2017. 

A private service will be held. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
