Phyllis Bernstein

Phyllis Bernstein of Moriches died at Peconic Bay Medical Center Oct. 9, 2025. She was 97.

Born in Brooklyn July 17, 1928, she was the daughter of Nathan Sussner. She earned a bachelors degree and worked as a journalist.

Ms. Bernstein is survived by her son, William Bernstein.

Tuthill Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead is assisting the family.
