Janice Chew, of Mattituck died at her home on Aug. 13, 2026. She was 76 years old.

Visiting hours will be held at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19 in the funeral home chapel. Internment will follow at New Bethany Cemetery in Mattituck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mattituck Fire Department Rescue Squad.
