Margaret M. Kelleher

Riverhead resident Margaret M. Kelleher, formerly of Brooklyn, died at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead Aug. 14, 2026. She was 85.

Born in the Bronx March 1, 1941 she was the daughter of Irene Staples and Hugh Kelleher.

Ms. Kelleher graduated high school and worked as a restaurant manager. After retirement, she worked part time as a Walmart associate.

Family said she enjoyed wildlife, nature, music and spending time with family.

Predeceased by her son Ronald F. Suden Jr.; and daughters Gale M. Suden, Catherine I. Suden and Lauren Catalano, she is survived by her daughter Debra Beni; and extended family Kyle W. Harris, Kyle II, Kyle III and Kyle Kaedyn; grandchildren Krystyna (Beni) Rossell; and great-granddaughter Sophia Rossell.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, Aug. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.
