Millard A. Northridge III

Millard A. Northridge III of Mattituck, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 25, 2026. He was born in Greenport Hospital on March 4, 1939, to Millard and Marian Northridge. He was 87 years old.

At the age of 10, Millard accepted Christ as his Savior, beginning his life-long relationship with the Lord.

Millard graduated from Mattituck High School, class of 1957. During his school years, he was an accomplished athlete, holding the county record in the 100-yard dash with an impressive time of 9.9 seconds. His talent on the track earned him an invitation to the Olympic tryouts. Following graduation, Millard served six years in the United States Air Force. He went on to work for Northrop Grumman for 30 years.

Millard met the love of his life Mary Lou on a blind date orchestrated by his brother William J. Northridge. They were married on Nov. 3, 1963, and shared 59 years of marriage.

Millard had a true servant’s heart and found great joy in helping others, always willing to lend a hand whenever someone was in need. He had a natural knack for tinkering with cars and enjoyed camping, traveling throughout the United States, roller skating, and competitive pistol shooting. He especially enjoyed fishing, and playing golf with his brother, Bill. Above all, Millard loved serving the Lord and faithfully supporting his church, living out his faith through kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others.

Millard was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Lou Northridge.
