Happy New Year to all of you! I hope your holidays were merry and bright. Ours were really fun, with most of the kids home. We ate lots of food and drank lots of wine. Now it’s time to get back to work with exercise and healthy eating so we can reach those 2017 goals before next December!

Happy October! I hope you had a wonderful September and are looking forward to the blessings of the fall harvest. I pushed Johanna up Herricks Lane in her wheelchair recently and loaded her up with pumpkins and mums. It sufficed as a workout for me and helped with the fall decorating. We can’t wait to go on these adventures together in her new Surrey bike.

I received some sad news from Angela DeVito: Longtime South Jamesport resident and community member Patricia Hansen passed away Aug. 1. She spent her youth here in the summer and moved here permanently after retiring. READ
