An investigation by a civil rights organization revealed discriminatory lending practices by Ulster Savings Bank, an upstate company that has an office in Riverhead, according to a lawsuit filed last month in federal court.
Riverhead School District bus driver Andrea Diaz was supposed to return to work in March after having been fired.
Thirteen current and former teachers at the Riverhead Charter School in Calverton are suing the school and its principal for $10 million in damages based on what they claim is a long pattern of discrimination and lewd behavior by its principal, Raymond Ankrum, the News-Review has learned. (more…)
