Town to discuss 225th Anniversary Celebration

The Riverhead Town Board will discuss the town’s 225th Anniversary Committee with town historian Georgette Case at its work session on Thursday.

Other discussion topics include the merger of the senior citizen and recreation departments, a plan to allow people to get police accident reports over the internet and highway department staffing.

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon will be live blogging.
