Election employees will be paid $10 an hour for the position, though district employees will be paid time and a half for overtime hours worked, according to a copy of the agenda.
Polling will take place at Riley Avenue Elementary School, Phillips Avenue Elementary School, Aquebogue Elementary School and at the high school. Residents will vote at the school where children in their household would attend elementary school, except for those living within the Roanoke Avenue district. Those residents would vote at the high school.
The board is also scheduled Tuesday to accept a $198.70 donation for Pulaski Street School and a $1,030.98 donation to the high school from Target to be used for school supplies. One percent of all purchases made using a Target Redcard credit card benefit a school of the customer’s choice.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.
