Slide Show: Thanksgiving Feast at Riley Avenue Elementary

Riley Avenue Elementary School students in Catherine Kent and Terry Messina’s second grade classes studied about the history of Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims journey to America, their friendship with the Native Americans and the first “Thanksgiving Feast” this year.

The kids performed a short skit with Thanksgiving songs for family and friends in the Riley Avenue School gymnasium Friday before feasting on turkey and trimmings prepared by parents.
