Town Board discusses Anti-Bias Task Force, ag committee
The Riverhead Town Board was expected to talk about the recently reformed Anti-Bias Task Force at Thursday’s work session.
The Anti-Bias Task Force had become dormant in recent years, but officials have sought to revive it after a string of violent attacks against Hispanic men in town.
The board was also set to have a discussion about the agricultural advisory committee, and review draft resolutions for its March 18 meeting.
The meeting was set to start at 10 a.m and News-Review reporter Tim Gannon covered it live.
