Blotter: An alleged rape tops weekly arrest list
Riverhead Town police made the following arrests from July 12 to July 18:
- Janaka Wijepala Mohottalalage of Aquebogue, 51, was arrested for alleged rape.
- Riverhead residents Larry McCoy, 66; Ludwin Rodriguez, 19; Heladio Ortiz-Perez, 50; and Mynor Sic Reyes, 25; Jose Patzan Top, 46; and Alyssa Robichaud of Port Jefferson, 32, were arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated. Mr. Patzan Top’s charge was aggravated DWI. Ms. Robichaud was also arrested for alleged harassment.
- Nicholas Fisher of Riverhead, 40, and Elizabeth Dalton of Moriches, 58, were arrested for alleged petit larceny.
- Anthony Pucci of Riverhead, 70; Rigoberto Izaguirre of Riverhead, 47; and Christian Fox of Smithtown, 38, were arrested for alleged criminal contempt.
- Pablo Aguilar of El Salvador, 36, and Sandra Lopez of Guatemala, 54, were arrested for alleged harassment.
- Omar Wilson of Riverhead, 53, was arrested for alleged criminal mischief.
- Troy Robinson of Riverhead, 58, was arrested for alleged false personation and on a Suffolk County warrant.
- Riverhead residents Luis Chicojay Sicajau, Cristian Bac-Yupe, 29, and Hugo Molina, 46; Boris Velasquez Estrada, 47; Hraklis Morris, 49, address unknown; Gilberto Betancur of Colombia, 42; and Charles Tyler, 55, listed as from Riverhead and Southold, were arrested for alleged vehicle and traffic law violations. Mr. Tyler was also arrested on arrest and bench warrants.
- Louis Pagano of Shirley, 41, was arrested on a bench warrant. Celin Santos Cuellar of Riverhead, 22, and Agustin Mayen of Riverhead, 60, were arrested on arrest warrants.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
