Blotter: Riverhead cops arrest eight on multiple charges
Riverhead Town police made the following arrests from July 19 to July 25:
- David Cano of Riverhead, 24, was arrested for allegedly engaging in a course of sexual conduct against a child and for alleged sexual abuse.
- David De Paz Javier of Centereach, 36, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated.
- Johanna Ramos of Mastic Beach, 40; Anthony Giella of Port Jefferson, 58; Brian Green of Newark, N.J., 58; and Manuel Lemus Galeano of Center Moriches, 33, were arrested for alleged petit larceny. Ms. Ramos was also arrested for alleged public urination. Mr. Giella and Mr. Green were also arrested for alleged criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Lemus Galeano was also arrested on a bench warrant.
- Korinthia Magee of Riverhead, 36, was arrested on multiple alleged petit larceny charges.
- Marco Lima Jimenez of Central Islip, 37, was arrested on two counts of alleged petit larceny and for allegedly giving police false identifying information.
- Edgar Garcia of Riverhead, 30, and Michael Coleman of Patchogue, 56, were arrested for alleged criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Garcia was also arrested for an alleged suspended-license violation and on a bench warrant.
- Anthony Pucci of Wading River, 70, and Benjamin Halsey III of Riverhead, 37, were arrested for alleged criminal contempt.
- Richard Kayte of Southampton, 45, was arrested for alleged criminal possession of stolen property.
- Amanda Olivieri of Shoreham, 25, was arrested for alleged aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
- Yavuz Erdogan of Middle Island, 54, was arrested for allegedly selling tobacco to a minor.
- Yagoob Naseer of Ridge, 61, was arrested for alleged unlawful dealing with a child.
- Riverhead residents Bryan Lopez, 30, and Angel Garcia, 29; Brandon Carter, 54, listed as undomiciled; and Carlos Fonesca of Honduras, 40, were arrested for alleged town code violations.
- Engell Leon-Garcia of Riverhead, 29, was arrested on an arrest warrant. Jasmine Brown of Bellport, 28; Olimpio Colon of Riverhead, 55; and Clinton Murray of Patchogue, 48, were arrested on bench warrants.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
