Blotter: Five alleged DWIs lead week’s arrest count
Riverhead Town police made the following arrests from Aug. 2 to Aug. 8:
Gilmar Gabriel Ventura of Riverhead, 37; Austin Xajap Punay of Aquebogue, 33; Walter Chamale Chamale of Riverhead, 26; and Cristian Caraballo Correa of Hampton Bays, 26, were arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated.
Daniel Onyanga of Center Moriches, 34, was arrested for alleged aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Corey Young of Manorville, 32, was arrested for alleged grand larceny.
Pamela Rivera of Corona, N.Y., 47, and Sherrill Harris of Riverhead, 45, were arrested for alleged petit larceny.
Nerissee Robinson of Riverhead, 30, was arrested for alleged criminal mischief.
Keith Griffin of Riverhead, 59, was arrested for alleged obstructing governmental administration.
Forrest Davis of Riverhead, 83, was arrested for alleged harassment.
John Giannas of Queens, 43, was arrested for an alleged town code violation.
William Lindner of Copiague, 37; Shawn Mungin of Riverhead, 51; Shaun Worthington of Riverhead, 27; and David Osborn of Wading River, 34, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
