Blotter: Police tackle spate of alleged ‘little larcenies’
Riverhead police made 33 arrests during the week of Aug. 30 through Sept. 5.
- Yvestho Cantave of Riverhead, 26, was arrested for alleged assault.
- Egson Figueroa Bonilla of Riverhead, 27, was arrested for alleged forcible touching.
- Delfino Pelaez Alvarado of Riverhead, 30, was arrested for alleged menacing.
- Alfonso Martinez Rojano of Mexico, 19, and Luca Triolo of Huntington, 18, were arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated.
- Calvin Wesley of Riverhead, 68, and Noel Reyesgonazalez of Flanders, 21, were arrested for alleged aggravated DWI.
- Cristian Otero Rivera of Montauk, 43, was arrested for alleged criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Seven individuals were arrested for alleged petit larceny: Daniell Magee of Patchogue, 44; Nicholas Berg of Riverhead, 41 (two counts); Jason Vidivici of Riverhead, 44; Amy Wesolowski of Riverhead, 39; Kimika Scott of Medford, 34; Brian Green of Riverhead, 58 (two counts); and Jacob Riehl of Riverhead, 34.
- Michael Ruiz of Bay Shore, 35, and Shanay White of Riverhead, 35, were arrested for alleged aggravated unlicensed operation.
- Eight arrests were made for alleged town code violations: Steven Jones of Southampton, 42; Walter Chamale Chamale of Guatemala, 26; Frederick Baum of Riverhead, 67; Kourtney Frasier of Riverhead, 41; Miguel Ortiz Rodriguez of Riverhead; 33; Jose Ortiz Rodriguez of Southampton, 47; James Anderson of Riverhead, 70; and Lina Brown, 46, listed as undomiciled.
- Bench or arrest warrants were executed against the following individuals: Walter Chamale Chamale of Riverside, 26; Charles Scruggs of Shirley, 37; Ebony Booker of Riverhead, 36; Jacqueline Kestler of Shirley, 42; Kourtney Frasier of Riverhead, 41; and James Anderson of Riverhead, 70.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
