Blotter: Alleged rape, DWI top charges for last week

Riverhead Town police made the following arrests during the week from Aug. 16 to Aug. 22.

  • Johan Herrera of Colombia, 40, was arrested for alleged rape.
  • Riverhead residents Santos Gregorio Lopez, 29, and Segundo Romero Suquilanda, 36, were arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated.
  • Shaquille Faison of Shirley, 33; Jose Montero Zabala of Riverhead, 40; and Jonathan Rodriguez Lopez of Mattituck, 27, were arrested for alleged criminal contempt.
  • Shemar Phillips of Mastic, 24, was arrested for alleged harassment and on an outstanding bench warrant.
  • Margot Albrezzi of Riverhead, 36, was arrested for alleged petit larceny,
  • William Muench of Ronkonkoma, 49, was arrested for alleged aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
  • Richard Ambrose of Riverhead, 49, was arrested for alleged criminal mischief.
  • Devonte Burgess of Riverhead, 33, was arrested for an alleged town code violation and on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
