McGann-Mercy senior Karlin McIntyre hit a three-run home run to right center field to break a 1-1 tie in the second inning and lift the Monarchs to a 7-3 victory against The Stony Brook School Friday afternoon at Stotzky Memorial Park.

McIntyre finished a single shy of the cycle. A center fielder, she doubled in the first and tripled in the fifth. She finished with five RBIs.

The Monarchs won their second straight game to even their league record at 2-2. McIntyre hit a walk-off triple in the Monarchs’ previous game against Southold/Greenport.

Anna Crowley earned the victory on the mound for Mercy against the Bears.

Second baseman Micaela Zebroski was 2-for-3 at the plate.
