Two North Fork men were arrested last week on drug charges in Central Islip, Suffolk County Police said.

Fredrick Grace, 23, of Greenport, and Karon Grant, 27, of Riverhead were found in possession of marijuana in a parked car on Carlton Avenue in Central Islip shortly before midnight June 28, police said.

Both men were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, police said.

Exactly one year ago from his arrest, Mr. Grace was nabbed on June 28, 2011 during a joint investigation into local drug trafficking by Southold Police and the East End Drug Task Force, officials said.

At that time, Mr. Grace was found with a “substantial sum of money” when he was arrested on Third Street in Greenport and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officials said. He was accused of dealing in crack cocaine, police said.
