From Jeans to Jackets, Men’s Wearhouse Opens in Riverhead
Men’s Wearhouse is officially tucked between Planet Fitness and Target at 1160 Old Country Rd. in Riverhead, after town and store officials held a ribbon-cutting grand opening ceremony Friday morning.
The new 10,210-square-foot store offers racks, shelves and tables full of tailored clothing, sportswear, and rental attire. The store offers personalized styling support and tailoring for clothes ranging from casual denim to classic formalwear in many fits and sizes.
“We are pleased to bring Men’s Wearhouse to the Riverhead community,” Tailored Brands CEO John Tighe said in a release. “Our mission is to provide each customer with a distinguished and personalized shopping experience, offering expert guidance, exceptional craftsmanship, and the highest standard of service.”
At the grand opening, Andy Vogt, vice president of North East Stores, said the brand has been interested in expanding into Riverhead for a long time, so securing the new store was a “no-brainer.”
“We just feel like this is a community where we can thrive and do business and build relationships in the community,” Mr. Vogt said.
Assistant store manager Nicole Rosato agreed, saying they are looking to establish a connection with the East End and become a part of the Riverhead community.
