Photos: Riverhead FD Ladies Auxiliary hosts annual fundraiser breakfast

For more than 25 years, the Riverhead Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary have been serving up breakfast on a Sunday morning in late winter. 

That tradition was alive and well this Sunday, when hundreds arrived at the Roanoke Avenue firehouse for the group’s main fundraiser. The all-you-can-eat breakfast included sausages, eggs, pancakes and more. The event also featured a 50/50 raffle and prizes.

Money from the fundraiser will go to the Ladies Auxiliary’s scholarship programs and will also fund ways to help volunteer firefighters.
