A Center Moriches man found out the hard way that you don’t bring illegal drugs and weapons to a probation meeting.

Christian O’Malley, 32 of Union Avenue visited the Suffolk County center with his probation officer  last Tuesday night, according to a Southampton Town police report.

During his visit, Mr. O’Malley was found to be in possession of Vicodin tablets, a prescription drug, police said.

When the officers searched him further, they also found Mr. O’Malley was carrying heroin, Suboxone tables and metal knuckles, police said.

He was arrested on the spot and taken to Southampton Police headquarters, police said. Mr. O’Malley was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
