Eleanor Koroleski

Eleanor Koroleski of Riverhead died at Westhampton Care Center Dec. 27. She was 91.

She was born Jan. 1, 1928, to Lenora and Joseph Gatz in Jamesport.

Ms. Koroleski graduated from Riverhead High School. She was a homemaker who also worked for New York Telephone in her younger years.

Her family said she enjoyed gardening and loved her church.

Ms. Koroleski was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and her grandson Kyle. She is survived by her children, Debra (Steve) Martin of South Carolina, David and Douglas (Gail), both of Riverhead; her brother, George Gatz of Florida; grandchildren Eric, of Florida and Ashley (Sean) Belcher of Riverhead; and great-grandchildren, Briella and Tristan Belcher.

Visitors will be received Friday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead, followed by a service at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will take place at St. Isidore Cemetery.
