Day-long Blues on the River music festival coming to Grangebel Park on Aug. 29
Grove and give back at Grangebel Park this Saturday during the Blues on the River music festival which features multiple local acts and supports two organizations.
The Lions Club of Cutchogue & Lions District 20S is sponsoring the event, which runs from noon to 4 p.m. on the Peconic riverfront.
There is a long list of performers for all attendees to enjoy, including event organizer and long-time performer on the blues and roots circuit Kerry Kearney, Pamela Betti, Joe Louis and the Grove, Zenbock, the town supervisor’s daughter, Chloe Halpin, and other special guests.
All donations benefit the Guide Dog Foundation, which provides guide dogs and training all of free of charge to people who were blind, have low vision and other disabilities, as well as America’s Vet Dogs and its mission is to place service dogs with veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities.
