Police: Wading River man arrested on drug charges

A Wading River man was arrested last Wednesday on a slew of drug charges after an East End Drug Task Force investigation, Riverhead town police said.

Michael Quinn, 26, was arrested about 12:40 p.m. at a Laurel Lane residence, police said.

He was charged with third- and fourth- degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana, officialssaid.

Mr. Quinn was taken to police headquarters, processed and arraigned, police said. He was held at Suffolk County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
