Police: Riverhead man stole from construction company

A Riverhead man was arrested on Thursday after police said he broke into a local construction company and stole “numerous items” from the site.

According to Riverhead Police, an employee of Terry Construction arrived at its Osborn Avenue location around 5:30 a.m. and found a broken front door to the business.

Upon further investigation, police found that 20-year-old Ionut Kosha was allegedly responsible for the crime.

He was charted with burglary in the third degree.
