Christopher D. Powell

Christopher D. Powell of Riverhead died March 29. He was 31.

He was born May 4, 1987, to Jaqueline (Robertson) and Gregory Powell in Riverhead.

Mr. Powell made a career as a computer tech and enjoyed fishing, baking, cooking and art.

He is survived by his parents, of Riverhead; his grandmother, Grace Robertson, of Riverhead; his grandfather, Leonard Powell, of Riverhead; his brother, Jonathan, of Middle Island; his sisters Cassandra, of Westhampton Beach, Mckiela, of Riverhead, and Mariah, of Bay Shore; his nieces Jailynn and Caliyah Brown; and his uncles Glen Robertson and Kenneth Powell, both of Riverhead.

Visitors will be received Wednesday, April 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
