A State Liquor Authority inspection over the weekend resulted in arrests at two Riverhead restaurants.
Kelly Dueffert, an employee at TGI Fridays in Riverhead, and Shana Boeckmann, an employee at Perabell in Riverhead, were both charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Two people were arrested for drug possession near Dariland Ice Cream in Riverhead last Tuesday.
Police stopped a car around 11:50 a.m. driven by Nicholas Fisher, officials said. Police asked the passenger, Kelly Richardson, to step out of the vehicle to be interviewed and as she complied a quantity of cocaine was seen on the passenger seat, officials said. Both were handcuffed and a search of the car was conducted. Police found crack cocaine in Ms. Richardson’s purse and more inside the car, officials said. READ

Riverhead Town police arrested a 14-year-old boy for his involvement in a robbery in Riverhead last Tuesday.
An employee of Tommy Hilfiger at Tanger Outlets reported that three females entered the store around 5:25 p.m. and removed merchandise from the store, officials said. When the employee confronted them one of the women used an electrical stun gun on the employee, officials said. READ
Riverhead Town police arrested a Melville man for driving while intoxicated in Riverhead Saturday.
Willis Lindstadt, 24, was involved in a car accident around 12:15 a.m. on Main Street when police determined he was intoxicated, officials said. READ
Police arrested a Riverhead woman for felony driving while intoxicated in Baiting Hollow Saturday.
Lisa Geremita, 48, refused to submit to a breath test and had open alcohol in her car when she was pulled over on Sound Avenue around 11:35 p.m., officials said. READ
