Cops: Riverhead man with suspended license arrested for DWI

A Riverhead man with a suspended license for failure to appear in court was arrested early Wednesday morning after he was spotted driving drunk in Flanders, Southampton Town Police said.

David Davis, 40, was pulled over just past midnight after he was observed drifting out of his lane of travel along Flanders Road, police said.

He stands charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was held overnight for a morning arraignment, police said.
