Cops: Unlicensed Flanders man was driving drunk in Southampton

A 26-year-old Flanders resident with no driver’s license was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Southampton Saturday night, Southampton Town Police said.

Gus Garcia-Blancarte was pulled over for speeding and driving erratically on County Road 39 shortly after 10 p.m., police said.

He was charged with misdemeanor DWI and unlicensed operation, police said. He was held overnight for a Sunday morning arraignment.
