Cops: Riverhead man stole $250 worth of patio furniture

A Riverhead man was arrested last week for stealing patio furniture from a backyard in Flanders, Southampton Town police said.

Shareem K. Giles, 41, stole the furniture, valued at $250, from a property on Priscilla Avenue on August 11, police said.

He was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket. He’s due back in court on Sept. 12.
