Robert served proudly as a combat engineer in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965.

He was born and raised in the Bronx and moved to Long Island with his wife, Josephine, and daughter, Connie, in 1970. Once settled on Long Island, his son, Joseph, was born.

He worked for United Parcel Service for 30 years, retiring in 1995.

He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine, and is survived by his daughter, Constance (Dennis); son, Joseph (Christina); and four grandchildren, DJ (who he called Peanut), Christopher (who he called Slugger), Adriana (who he called Slim) and Robert (who he called Charlie Brown); many nieces and nephews; and his loyal, loving dog, Romeo.
