Riverhead Blotter: Woman stuffed her bra with crack cocaine

A Center Moriches woman wanted for a parole violation now faces a drug charge after police arrested her and discovered crack cocaine tucked inside her bra, Riverhead police said.

Tiffany Norris, 29, was stopped by a patrol officer after she was spotted on Lewis Street with an open container of alcohol, police said. Ms. Norris was arrested for that violation and police brought her to be processed at headquarters, according to the report.

Police said they searched Ms. Norris and discovered “a quantity of crack cocaine” in the left side of her bra. She was processed and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and held for arraignment due to an outstanding parole warrant for her arrest.

• Robert Noon III, 37, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny Monday, police said. He was also held on an outstanding parole warrant. Information about his arrest was not available.

• Leobardo Aguilar, 24, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for a turning violation last Thursday, police said. He was processed and held for arraignment, police said.

• Luis Vargas, 43, of Mastic was arrested and charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, four counts of third-degree identity theft and one count of third-degree forgery last Tuesday, police said. Additional information about his arrest was not made available.

• Maksym Lototskyi, 19, of Calverton was arrested May 9 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. Police received a call about 10:15 a.m. of subjects loitering behind the Toys R Us building on Route 58, officials said. An arriving police officer allegedly smelled marijuana at the scene and interviewed Mr. Lototskyi, who produced two plastic bags of marijuana from his pants pocket. He was processed, arraigned and released without bail.

• Paula Brugnoni-Cobo, 23, of Riverhead was arrested and charged with DWI after police said she was seen speeding, according to an arrest report. Ms. Brugnoni-Cobo was stopped at the intersection of Cross River Drive and Main Road after a patrol officer reported seeing her traveling 20 miles per hour over the speed limit in a 2001 gray Honda sedan, police said. She was arrested for drunken driving following an investigation, taken to police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment, the report reads.

• Samuel Antonio, 22, of Flanders was arrested and charged with DWI after he was allegedly seen failing to stay in a lane by police early Sunday morning, police said. He was processed and held for arraignment.

• Gail Wyroba, 63, was arrested and charged with DWI last Friday, police said. No other information on her arrest was available.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
