Audrey Meyer of Wading River died Feb. 14 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She was 91 years old.

She was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Brooklyn to Albert and Margaret Gronomen. Family members said she was a loving mother and cherished grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband, Fred, Ms. Meyer is survived by her children, Frederick and Kyle Meyer and Pamela Thompson, and two grandchildren.

Visiting hours took place Feb. 17 at Alexander-Tuthill Funeral Home in Wading River. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 18 at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Wading River, the Rev. John Barrett officiating. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.
