Mary Zori of Southold died Sept. 30, 2013. She was 81 years old.
Born in Flushing Jan. 1, 1932, to Mario and Rose (Anelich) Bracco, she married Anthony Zori and together they made their home in Astoria from 1932 to 1987.
For the past 26 years they lived in Southold and were parishioners of St. Patrick R.C. Church.
Mary had been a secretary for the United Nations Development Program and a volunteer poll worker on Election Day.
She is survived by her husband; two children, Eric Zori of Glen Cove and Donna Zori (Michael McNamara) of Glenwood Landing; a brother, William Bracco of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Cassandra, Kimberlei, Kerea and Eamon McNamara.
The family received friends Oct. 2 and 3 at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold. The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 4 at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold, officiated by Father Peter Garry. Interment was at the church cemetery.
