Cops: Two men stole $4,000 worth of clothing; reward offered

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town police are seeking the public’s help to identify two men who stole merchandise from a store in Riverhead last month, according to a press release.

The suspects, who were described as Hispanic, entered Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store at Tanger Outlets and stole nearly $4,000 worth of men’s clothing and a duffel bag on Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., police said.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
