Barbara Ellen Lynch

Riverhead resident Barbara Ellen Lynch died March 22 at the age of 86.

She was born March 14, 1924, in Powhatan, Va., to Milton and Gertrude Jones. She later married Jesse Lynch in Riverhead.

Ms. Lynch worked for the Eastport Duck Plant and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Aquebogue.

Predeceased by her husband and sons, Jesse Jr., Delaware and Vernon, Ms. Lynch is survived by her siblings, Thelma Jones and Beatrice Ash, both of Riverhead, and Milton Jones of Palatka, Fla.

Funeral services were held April 2 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Arrangements were handled by Seay Memorial Chapel in Riverhead.
