Former Riverhead resident Patricia Ann Johnson, known as Pat, died July 18 at the age of 54.
She was born Oct. 12, 1956, in Cobb Town, Ga., to Dorothy Andrews. She moved to Long Island in 1974 and married James Johnson.
She was a loving and caring mother, family members said, and always did her best to provide for them.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her companion of 15 years, Jerome Nelson; her sons, Henry Prigeon of Collins, Ga., and Michael, of Riverhead; her daughter, Rosetta, of Jacksonville, Fla.; her siblings, Evelyn Smith, Diane Andrews, Linda Anthony, Ann Marie Judon, Clarence Bostic, Michael Andrews, Steve Andrews and Kevin Andrews, all of Georgia; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and her brothers Kenneth and Keith Andrews.
A service took place July 26 at Galilee Church of God in Christ in Riverhead, Pastor Roy Pennon Sr. officiating. Interment was at Riverhead Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Seay Memorial Chapel in Riverhead.
