Vincent Artale

Vincent Artale of Riverhead, known as Tony, died Dec. 28, 2011, at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 51.

He was born Oct. 28, 1960, in West Virginia to Vincent Artale and Jackie Cruz.

A graduate of Sachem High School, he was a dispatcher with the Town of Riverhead Police Department.

Predeceased by his father in 2002, Mr. Artale is survived by his mother, of Florida; his stepmother, Pat Beebe-Artale of Riverhead; and his siblings, Karen Levasseur, William and Christina, all of Riverhead, and Catherine Cruz of Florida.

Visiting hours and services took place, respectively, Dec. 30 and 31, at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation was private.
