Bernice Blanks

Bernice Blanks of Riverhead died Feb. 1 at the Riverhead Care Center. She was 96.

She was born March 17, 1915, in Helena, Ark., to John and Dora Cokley and was a homemaker for most of her adult life.

Predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1981, she is survived by her daughter, Peggy Kluge of Riverhead; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours in memory of Ms. Blanks will take place Saturday, April 21, from 2 to 6 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. Cremation will be private.
