John P. Ardolini Jr.

John P. Ardolini Jr. of Calverton died April 9 at the Riverhead Care Center. He was 84 years old.

Born March 21, 1929, in the Bronx to John and Dorothea (Asbacher) Ardolini, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned a dry cleaning business in Selden.

Mr. Ardolini is survived by his wife, Jean (née DeRuvo); his sons, James, of Rocky Point, and Jack, of Port Jefferson; his daughter, Jani Rothberg of Moriches; his brother, Charles, of Maryland; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family received friends April 14 at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A graveside service, followed by interment, took place April 15 at Calverton National Cemetery.
