Southampton Police Blotter: Mastic Beach man arrested for drunken driving in Flanders

• A Mastic Beach man was arrested for drunken driving last Saturday in Flanders after he was stopped for a traffic infraction on Flanders Road, police said. 

Mario Taylor, 47, was found to be unsteady on his feet, with red, glassy eyes and slurred speech, police said. 

He was charged with DWI, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway and a traffic violation, police said. 

• Jacinto Cetobrito, 32, of Riverhead was arrested last Wednesday and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Woodroad Trail in Flanders, police said. 

Police found his license had been revoked due to a prior DWI conviction and his vehicle was not equipped with a required interlock device, officials said. 

Mr. Cetrobrito was transported to police headquarters for processing and his vehicle was impounded, police said. 

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
